Who is Nikita? Bio
Sometimes you have to have a breakdown to receive your breakthrough. I had to learn the hard way that there was no running from the battle that was in my mind and in my heart. It was time to face the facts that nobody was going to rescue me; I had to rescue myself. During my journey I fell in love with helping other women fall in love with themselves and to help them create positive lives for their children. Strong women will always turn their pain into power.
My name is Nikita Hudson, (fun fact: when I was born my mother named me Nikkiana and had my birth certificate changed my name after hearing Elton Johns Song, “Nikita”). I am a single mother of 2! My son Jaylen is 7 and was diagnosed with combined type ADHD at 3 and I was diagnosed with adult ADD at 28. Click here to read my first Blog post all about that! My daughter Leilani is 3. I am an author, self-love mentor, speaker, and mental health advocate currently living in New Jersey. I graduated from Caldwell University with a BA in Communication Arts.
I come from a large Jamaican family with 10 siblings. I am passionate about reading, writing, mental health, my children, and LOVE. I am indecisive, a procrastinator, a creative, a dreamer, anxious, vivacious, and full of good vibes. There’s good and bad to all of us but that what makes us, US.
I’ve been through the bad relationships, the domestic violence, and the emotional and verbal abuse. I’ve fought through the depression, the anxiety, the self-doubt, and regret’s. I’ve been to my braking points and I decided I wont live there. Nothing is “unfigureoutable”.
The best thing I did was finding the strength for continuing to live even when I felt like I wanted to die. I’ve learned that the firs step in self-love is acceptance, sitting with, listening to and accepting your pain.
Allow yourself to just be where you are while you partake on this journey of self-discovery and love. It is so worth it. So stay a while!
